Ellsworth Community College's women's basketball season highlighted the talents of several standout players who earned All-Region recognition.
Freshman forward Asia Beale was named First Team All-Region, while fellow freshman forward Yaiza Soriano Balaguer earned Second Team honors. Sophomore guard Claudia Sanz Dorange secured a spot on the Third Team, showcasing ECC's emerging talent and bright future.
Head coach Justin Rees praised the players' efforts. "Asia, Yaiza, and Claudia worked incredibly hard this season and earned these honors through their dedication on and off the court. They've set a high standard for what it means to be a Panther."
Athletic Director Nate Forsyth added, "These All-Region awards highlight the skill, determination, and leadership of our student-athletes. We're proud of the contributions each of these players made this season."
The accolades reflect not only individual excellence but also ECC's commitment to developing student-athletes who thrive in competition and academics alike. With young players stepping up early in their careers, the future of Panther women's basketball looks promising.
