Iowa Falls, IA – Ellsworth athletic director Nate Forsyth has announced Diorian Coleman as the next Panther head wrestling coach. Coleman appointment will oversee both the men's and women's wrestling programs on the Ellsworth campus.
Coleman comes to Iowa Falls after nearly a half-decade at the University of the Cumberlands as a coach for the Patriots' men's wrestling program.
Coleman has experience wrestling in both the NJCAA as well as the NAIA. A standout at Lindsey Wilson, Coleman posted a 21-8 in his time there while earning NAIA All American honors in the 2018 season while getting his coaching career started as a student assistant. Prior to that, Coleman attended NJCAA member Northwest College (Wyoming) where he became a junior college national champion at 165. Coleman also earned two state wrestling titles in high school.
"I'm very pleased to announce Diorian as our head wrestling coach as he has junior college experience and past success from being an individual NJCAA national champion," said Forsyth. "His passion for coaching and also work ethic are going to equal success for Diorian at Ellsworth."
