Reece Anderson was elevated to the head position at Ellsworth, just a year after joining the baseball coaching staff in 2024 as the Assistant Baseball Coach. Reece just finished a standout career at South Dakota State University (Brookings, SD). Reece played five years for the Jackrabbits where he was two-time All-Summit League selection as a centerfielder. Reece spent his summers coaching at Iowa high school powerhouse, Johnston, helping them win several state titles in his tenure. Anderson is originally from Johnston, IA and graduated from Johnston High School.
