Ellsworth Community College is proud to recognize four Panther baseball student-athletes who earned postseason honors from the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) as part of the 2026 Division II All-Region Baseball Teams announced Wednesday.
The Panthers completed the 2026 season with a 21–33 overall record and a 12–15 mark in conference play, competing in a highly competitive ICCAC Division II landscape.
Sophomore designated hitter Eric McGill earned First Team All-Region honors after a standout offensive season. McGill posted a 1.100 OPS in conference play, recording 11 doubles and 12 home runs. He also ranked fifth in the ICCAC in total bases (88), serving as a consistent offensive leader for the Panthers throughout the season.
In addition to McGill's first-team selection, three Panthers were named Honorable Mention All-Region:
• Dylan Phelps, sophomore infielder
• Jacob Koerselman, freshman outfielder
• Lucas Bruhl, redshirt freshman infielder
"These honors reflect the commitment and competitiveness our student-athletes bring every day," said head coach Reece Anderson. "Eric, Dylan, Jacob, and Lucas each played an important role in our program's growth this season. I'm proud of the way they represented Ellsworth both on and off the field."
Ellsworth Community College Athletic Director Nate Forsyth also praised the group's recognition and overall season effort.
"We are proud of our baseball student-athletes for earning conference recognition in a strong league," Forsyth said. "Their dedication, resilience, and work ethic reflect what it means to be a Panther. We're excited about the foundation being built for the future of the program."
The ICCAC All-Region teams highlight the top performers across the conference, recognizing excellence in athletic performance, leadership, and impact throughout the season.
